In order to compare our flight path estimations with the real one, we decided to make a new try. this one occurred in April, the 15th 2008 at 7:10 pm. We aimed at measuring more parameters during the flight to study the mechanic of the flight.

The meteorological conditions seemed good  : there was not wind but there were several cumulus (Data provided by par météo France Tours...)

Phaethon took off at 7:10 pm and landed at 8:10 only 5 km from the launch site where as it was expected to land at 200 km from Tours. Actuelly a cloud disturbed the flight only 10 miniutes after the take off by hidding the balloon from the sun...
