Ambient and inside temperature sensors |

Purpose We decided to measure the temperature inside the balloon and the outside one. So we will be able to calculate the gradient of temperature between the air inside and outside the balloon. The climbing speed of the balloon depends mainly on this difference. |

Functionning We use a resistor RT which depends on the temperature (a CTN, that is to say, the resistance decreases while the temperature increase). It is connected in series with a resistor R. Both are supplied by a 5V voltage. |

The calibration We lowered the temperature thanks to a cold spray and noted down the corresponding voltage.
