The radio-transmitter called Kiwi, lent by the CNES

Description and Functionning

- It's above all a radio-transmitter which transmits the measured data all 2s. It works with the frequency of 137,950 MHz ou 138,500 MHz.

- Its too a generator which provides a 5V voltage at each sensors connected.

- It is a volmetre which is able to measure voltage between 0 and 5V.

Our connexions :

8 sensors can be connected to the transmitter which broadcast the data measured.

Channel 1 : Inside temperature sensor located at the upxard surface ofthe balloon ;

Channel  2 : ambient temperature sensor 1 ;

Channel  3 :  ambient temperature sensor 2 ;

Channel  4 : Inside temperature sensor located at the middle of the balloon;

Channel  5 : pressure sensor 1 ;

Channel  6 : pressure sensor 2 ;

Channel  7 : horizontal lighting sensor 1 ;

Channel  8 : horizontal lighting sensor  2.
